the lovely man who works here (i can never remember his name…Arturo perhaps?) does beautiful repairs on vintage jewelry and watches. ?i first heard of him through a friend of mine who hired him to custom build her wedding ring (involving the daunting task of locating an exact match diamond to her grandmother’s heirloom diamond), and it was GORGEOUS. ? ?when i first went to him i needed my grandmother’s 1930s wedding ring repaired because the side had broken open, and not only did he masterfully fix the break, he also created new prongs to hold the diamond in more securely, and resoldered the wedding band to the engagement ring because the previous jeweler had not done it straight enough. ?the next time i went to him was with my great grandma’s 1927 bulova watch, which had not been working properly, for at least a decade, and i feared i had broken it for good. ?but, he fixed it! and it works like a dream now. ? ?when it was time for me to find a wedding band (to match my grandmas 1930′s rings that i was wearing as my engagement ring), i had an incredibly difficult time locating a band that matched, or even looked good with Stainless Steel Rings, them. ?so, i went to him to ask about having a matching band made, but before we even got to the details he pulled a little tray of estate jewelry out of his vault, plucked up a diamond band and invited me to try it out. ?perfect Stainless Steel Rings! perfect aesthetically Sterling Silver Pendants, perfect fit, perfect price!i love this man! ?my next stop to him will be tomorrow when i take in my great- grandmother’s rose gold and garnet earrings from the 1880s, and have him put them back together again, which i know he will do beautifully. ?obviously, i highly recommend pasadena gold company, you will never look for another jeweler again!
I went there today to buy a replacement wedding ring for my husband. (He lost his about a month ago while surfing…. or so he says ;-) The owner was really nice and helpful and the jewelry was beautiful.The owner explained that he designs and makes most of the jewelry in the store and he is really flexible about changing pieces to suit the clients needs. I ended up buying a beautiful 14 kt wedding band with and interesting design on it. When I saw the band I feel in love with it’s unique look but I wanted the ring to be brushed gold instead of the shiny gold. The jeweler was totally accommodating and changed the ring to my specifications at no cost extra to me.

No Roses Jewelry was established in 1999 and officially named in 2004 as a private jewelry and functional art studio, serving individual clients and professionals in the film and television industry.

No Roses Studio’s evolving collections of precious metals and textured glass have been featured in retail shops and galleries across the U.S., at juried art shows, on television shows and in films.

In 2011 No Roses launched a retail gallery and showroom, exhibiting their house collection as well as work from over a dozen local artisans and fine craftspeople.

I first discovered the “No Roses” Jewelry line at a fab store in Los Feliz Village called Cake. ?I received a necklace made by No Roses for my birthday. ?I loved the No Roses necklace I was given so much, I contacted No Roses via their website to inquire if they had matching earrings. ?Lisa as so quick to respond and although she did not have earrings that day to show me, withing a couple of days she sent me an email with photos of various options! ?I fell in love with one of the earrings she sent –and was able or arrange the whole purchase over the internet. ?Stunning designs, great customer service. I so recommend No Roses to anyone that likes unique jewelry for a reasonable price!
A uniquely modern feel; great gifts for both men and women – by private appointment only, so personal attention! Working with the artist in her studio, in her element, was really inspiring while we created a custom piece.
